Apply and the Crowd Factory platform are operated by CROWD FACTORY LTD, 71 to 75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, registered in the United Kingdom under number 16843422. Contact: hello@crowdfactory.shop. By submitting an application or using the platform you agree to the following terms.
1) Purpose of Apply and the Platform
Apply allows makers and designers to submit their details for consideration to join Crowd Factory.
Once approved, creators can upload, list and sell their digital product designs through the platform. Crowd Factory facilitates listing, order handling and manufacturing coordination.
2) Information You Submit
You provide your name, email, listing portfolio, location details and any supporting notes. You confirm that all information is true, complete and that you have permission to submit it.
You also confirm you have the rights to any files or designs you upload to the platform.
3) Review and Approval
- Approval is discretionary and not guaranteed.
- If approved, your profile may appear publicly, for example in the latest approval list or as a maker pin on the map.
- Approval may be revoked at any time if we determine that you no longer meet our standards or if we identify misuse or rights concerns.
4) Age Requirement
To receive payouts through Crowd Factory, for example through Stripe, you must be at least 18 years old.
5) Intellectual Property and Licensing
- All intellectual property in your designs and files remains owned by you or the rightful owner.
- By uploading content, you confirm that it is original or that you hold all rights, licences and permissions needed to sell or distribute it.
- You grant Crowd Factory a non exclusive licence to display, promote, sell and coordinate manufacturing of your listed designs. This licence is only for platform operation and sales fulfilment.
- Crowd Factory is not responsible for verifying the originality or provenance of uploaded files. If you upload content that you do not have rights to use, this is entirely your responsibility.
- If a third party makes a claim related to your content, you agree to resolve it directly and you will indemnify Crowd Factory from associated losses or disputes.
6) User Responsibilities and Conduct
- You must not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful or misleading content.
- You must not misuse the platform, attempt to bypass file protections, duplicate files, or reverse engineer protected assets.
- Crowd Factory may suspend or remove any user who breaches these rules.
7) File Protection Measures
- Crowd Factory uses protective software to restrict the downloading or extraction of design files by users and manufacturing partners.
- If the system detects an attempt to download, copy or unlawfully access a protected file, the file is automatically disabled and we are notified so we can block the user or the manufacturer from the platform.
- While we apply reasonable protective measures, we cannot guarantee absolute prevention of piracy or unauthorised use. Crowd Factory is not liable for any loss resulting from third party misuse of files.
8) Payments and Earnings
- For each sale and manufacture of your design, you will receive the agreed payout amount displayed in your creator settings or listing agreement.
- Payouts depend on accurate banking or Stripe account information provided by you.
- We may withhold or delay payments if fraud, rights issues or account irregularities are detected.
9) Platform Liability and Disclaimer
Crowd Factory provides the platform on an as available basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error free functionality.
- incorrect or infringing files uploaded by users
- any issues caused by external manufacturers
- loss of earnings due to piracy or external misuse
- delays caused by third party providers such as payment processors or manufacturers
Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
10) Privacy

11) Changes to the Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
12) Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by British law, and any dispute will be handled by the competent British courts.
